Davie Smith

Davie Smith is Art Director of LBC and is responsible for visually implementing communications and marketing initiatives through the production of marketing materials. Prior to joining LBC in December 2008, Mr. Smith served as the Art Director for Verizon Communication's Multimedia Department where he was responsible for conceptualizing and creating a wide range of marketing materials including, advertising, corporate responsibility reports, and promotional materials. Prior thereto, Mr. Smith served as an Art Director at Hirshorn-Zuckerman Design Group, where he handled numerous accounts including StoreTrax and Envision. Mr. Smith also served as a Senior Designer at the Union Labor Life Insurance Company (ULLICO) from 1991-1996. In addition to national recognition from Print magazine, Mr. Smith has won numerous awards including the International Associate of Business Communication's prestigious Silver Inkwell Award and the American Graphic Design Award of Excellence. Mr. Smith is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington (ADCMW). Mr. Smith graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a Bachelor in Fine Arts.
