Energy Conservation

MEPT is currently tracking and benchmarking a significant portion of its office and industrial portfolio in an effort to achieve Energy Star Certifications. The goal of the Energy Star certification program, established by the Environmental Protection Agency, is to improve the energy performance of buildings by managing energy consumption strategically across an entire portfolio as compared to a national peer set. Many MEPT office buildings in the portfolio have achieved Energy Star Certification with several others in various stages of obtaining certification.
